I realize I could agro the 3 final groups but I think the 3 seperate agroes might be what prevents the anti-farm. It might be faster in the long run to go a little slower each run to avoid having to do missions.

heh.. that must be it!! I pull all 4 groups on me.. and then i fire off all my ordinance at once!! lol
time to try your strategy for a change...

Ive tried this and it works well, but ive noticed the anti-farming code gets activated FAST. 20 runs with /resign and it activated.

I noticed that it actually activates a lot faster than that.
True, the blue farm code window comes up after like 20 runs or so... But the drops decrease to almost nothing a lot faster than that.
The pattern is always the same. When you start for your first time, you will get about 3 golds in around 10 runs.(these golds have a good chance of being very good)
After you get these however your drops will go down to only gold, whites, blues and an occasional purple. If you die even once, your drops will ge even worse. If you continue farming, you will get the "blue window of death".
I tried /resigning like some people suggested here, but it dont help.
What does help is altering your killing pattern like Mercurius suggested.
You kill groups one buy one on the 1st run, then you kill 2 first ones at the same time, and 2 last ones separately, on the 3rd run you do it in some other way, etc. Following this strategy will slow down the drop decrease rate, but.... your drops will still be decreasing on every run, and your chances of a gold item will be pretty slim.
I noticed that when I use the "alternating kill patterns" strategy + resign, I usually get one gold after being offline for like 8 hours. I log on.. Farm about 10 times, get one gold, and then I am forced to stop cause drops just die.
Doing a mission resets the anti farm code, but after about 10 runs or so, everything goes to shit all over again.

Hmm...ok. I guess I can quickly do Imperial Sanctum after every 10 runs. A 1 minute mission shouldnt cut into the farming time too much.

Let me know how that goes....
I'm not sure if the shiro mission will work in this case, but if it does that will be great.

hehe, doing the defend droknars forge quest worked for sure, so did doing an UW quest for mass xp, atleast it did for me, the run after the quest I got two golds in a row, one being a +28 hp -2 stance shield req 9, fairly ok drop I guess.

IMHO the drop rate in this area has been "adjusted" now, it used to be a lot better than it currently is.

Got 3 gold items in 1 run last night, so for me, the drop rates haven't changed that much. It's still a solid source of income.

just tried this build today... debilitating shot owns me. I get denied energy SO much as i just simply try to aggro up and make the ranger ball ups. I have been at this for an hour practicing, but i have prolly like 25% success rate. I get denied energy as i aggro SO much, i often die before i even get a chance to finish balling em up and using SV/AV.
Does no one else have this issue?

While aggroing, you just need to slow down a bit before your enchants are going to flash and let the group following you to beat on you for a sec. With BS and EB going, your energy will fill up fairly quickly.
*edit:
I find it's also better to leave a few Rangers alive than to try to ball everyone of them up to kill them all. Kill the majority, pick up your loot, rinse and repeat.

Depends on how well you can avoid being interrupted. I usually gather the first four groups before getting down to business, and at that point there is usually a large congregation of rangers standing together behind me. So... I usually turn around and lead all the assassins and tanks back a few paces to the ranger mob and then kill them all off. As someone said earlier however, the closer you are to the rangers, the more chances you have be being interrupted apparently. I usually start casting SV or AV on the run, then I have no problems casting the second one after being stationary due to the mob being out of energy already. I still have a couple of rangers left afterwards, but I just tell myself that they wouldn't have dropped anything good anyways and resign.
Oh, and excuse the brief moment of noobness, but what does 'GPB' mean?
